UTA and EECO Sign Agreement to Advance U-Tapao Airport City PPP with NTP Expected in February

UTA and EECO have signed a memorandum to advance the U-Tapao Airport City public-private partnership project, aiming to attract global investors and boost tourism in Thailand. Initial development on approximately 6,500 rai is set to begin later this year, with a Notice to Proceed expected in February, allowing UTA to prioritize essential infrastructure and the Airport City component. Concurrently, the Royal Thai Navy is working on a second runway, slated for completion by November 2028.
