Dr. Julius Rone, CEO of UTM Offshore Limited, and Engr. Emeka Oguchi, CEO of Point Technologies Limited, were honored as Investors of the Year at The Sun Awards, set to take place on January 31, 2026, in Lagos.

Rone emphasized their project's significance as Nigeria's first floating LNG facility, targeting a production capacity of 2.8 million tons per annum, while Oguchi reflected on his entrepreneurial journey in the mobile devices market. The awards will also recognize 34 other individuals, including various governors and prominent figures from different sectors.
