Uttarakhand CM Directs Medical Care After Chamoli Train Collision at THDC Hydroelectric Project

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reported a train collision involving two locomotives at the THDC Vishnugad-Pipalkoti Hydroelectric Project in Chamoli, resulting in approximately 60 injuries among the 109 individuals on board. Immediate medical assistance was provided, with 42 individuals admitted to local hospitals, while a magisterial inquiry has been ordered to investigate the incident, which Indian Railways clarified did not involve its trains.
