Vanchinathan Thangavel, founder-chairman of Chennai's VIDVEDA Group, has expanded his company into semiconductor and electronics manufacturing, building a diverse portfolio that includes aerospace components and advanced electronics systems. After launching VIDVEDA in 2018, he is now constructing six new manufacturing plants, including India’s largest ammunition-filling facility, with an ambitious target of achieving an annual turnover of ₹3,000 crore. The group continues to enhance domestic supply chains through its subsidiary, YEEMAK, which focuses on electronics and appliances.
