Velo3D has partnered with the US Army's DEVCOM Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC) under a Cooperative Research & Development Agreement (CRADA) to develop and qualify 3D printed parts for military applications. This collaboration aims to enhance supply chain resilience for ground combat vehicles by utilizing Velo3D's Rapid Production Solution to prototype advanced manufacturing methods and qualified alloys. Additionally, Velo3D has entered an Other Transition Agreement with the US Department of War's Defense Innovation Unit for a significant weapon system program.
