Venture Global Begins Construction of CP2 LNG Terminal Following Federal Approval

Venture Global, Inc. has commenced construction of the CP2 LNG export terminal after receiving final approvals from the FERC. The project aims to supply liquefied natural gas to Europe, Japan, and allied nations, generating approximately 3,000 new jobs in Louisiana.

The terminal is expected to contribute over $4 billion in local property tax revenues and employ about 7,500 workers during peak construction. The CP2 project is part of Venture Global's strategy to enhance its position as a leading U.S. LNG exporter.
