Vietnam's Ministry of Industry and Trade proposed an amendment to Decree 56/2025/ND-CP on January 26, 2026, to enhance bankability for gas-fired thermal power projects using imported LNG. The amendment aims to increase the minimum long-term contracted electricity output from 65% to 75% and extend the contract duration from 10 to 15 years.
