Vigor Marine has been awarded a $73.42 million contract for a 215-day overhaul and dry docking of the USS Emory S. Land (AS 39). Work is set to commence on May 1, 2026, and conclude by December 1, 2026.

The contract includes options that could increase its value to $74.81 million. Funding comprises $68.48 million from fiscal year 2026 Navy operations and maintenance and $4.95 million from Navy working capital. The Military Sealift Command in Norfolk, Virginia, is overseeing the contract.
