VivoPower to Acquire 40MW Data Center in Norway for $40 Million to Support AI Initiatives

VivoPower International PLC has signed an exclusive agreement to acquire a 40MW data center in Norway for approximately $40 million, aiming to enhance its AI initiatives and achieve profitability by January 2026. The facility will operate on 100% renewable hydroelectric energy and is set to transition into a Sovereign AI Hub for carbon-neutral computing. Funding for the acquisition will be secured through deferred vendor finance and convertible preference shares, pending shareholder approval.
