Volvo Penta introduces the G17 natural gas engine, designed for data centres seeking reliable, low-emission backup power. Built on the D17 platform, the 17-litre, 6-cylinder engine can operate on both conventional and renewable natural gas, reducing carbon footprints while ensuring performance.

With a power output of around 450 kWe at 1800 rpm, it offers a compact solution for installations. The G17 also meets stringent emission standards with advanced combustion controls, making it suitable for environmentally regulated operations.
