Waga Energy has secured CA$15M from Quebec's Ministry of Economy, Innovation, and Energy to support its Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) project at the Hébertville-Station landfill. The funding will facilitate the construction of an RNG production unit using Waga Energy's WAGABOX® technology, aiming to integrate 10% of RNG into Quebec's gas network by 2030 and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by avoiding 9,400 metric tons of CO₂ equivalent annually. This initiative marks Waga Energy's fifth RNG project in Canada.
