Waga Energy has been selected to construct a renewable natural gas (RNG) production unit at Short Mountain Landfill in Eugene, Oregon, in partnership with Lane County and Emerald People's Utility District. The facility is expected to generate approximately 407,000 MMBtu of RNG annually and reduce CO₂ equivalent emissions by up to 31,000 tons per year, utilizing Waga Energy's WAGABOX® technology. This initiative aims to enhance local energy sustainability and reliability over an initial 25-year term.
