The Wisconsin Frontier Technology Consortium, led by the Wisconsin Technology Council, has been established with a $950,000 grant from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation as part of the Ignite Wisconsin program. The consortium aims to enhance the state's frontier technology and startup ecosystem by fostering collaboration among research institutions, accelerators, and industry networks. Initiatives will include the Wisconsin Frontier Technology Lab and Accelerator, targeting commercialization of technologies such as AI and quantum computing, and supporting 24 startups over two years.
