Zambia has approved the construction of the Tanzania-Zambia Multi-Products Pipeline and the Namibia-Zambia Refined Petroleum and Natural Gas Pipeline under a Public-Private Partnership. This initiative aims to enhance petroleum infrastructure, provide alternative sources of fuel, and strengthen the supply chain as national fuel consumption is projected to reach 3.7 million tonnes annually by 2030.
