Zanskar Raises $115 Million for AI-Driven Geothermal Development in Nevada

Zanskar has secured $115 million in a Series C funding round, increasing its total equity funding to $180 million, to develop geothermal fields in Nevada using AI technology. The funding, led by Spring Lane Capital, will facilitate the construction of multiple geothermal power plants by 2030, aiming to deliver electricity at a competitive cost of under $45 per megawatt-hour. The company has already revitalized a geothermal plant in New Mexico and discovered a new field in Esmeralda County, enhancing its position in the clean energy sector.
