The Second Republic of Zimbabwe, led by Acting President Kembo Mohadi, is promoting rural industrialisation to enhance local economies, highlighted by the Mapfura/Marula beneficiation plant in Mwenezi. This facility, which processes 100 tonnes of fruit per season and supports over 1,000 farmers, generates significant income for the community and aligns with the National Development Strategy 2 to develop rural industries and attract foreign currency. The government is also investing in hydro power plants to further support these industrialisation efforts.
