1547 Critical Systems Expands Interconnection at US/Mexico Border; Nostrum Data Centers Plans 500MW Capacity in Spain
1547 Critical Systems Realty has established an interconnection option at the McAllen Internet Exchange (MCT-IX) in the Chase Tower, which it acquired in partnership with Harrison Street. The facility will also receive an additional 500kW of power and a 3MW data center annex.
Nostrum Data Centers aims to provide 500MW of sustainable IT and data center capacity in Spain by 2027, having selected AECOM for the design and management of its Badajoz campus, with 300MW of power capacity already secured across six projects. Evocative has secured new debt financing from a global investment firm to support its expansion in key metro markets, operating 7 facilities in California, 2 in Texas, and one each in New Jersey, Washington, Georgia, Arizona, and Massachusetts. Additionally, Ericsson has launched a Private 5G network at the Port of Tyne in the UK and has entered a 5-year agreement with stc Group to deploy mobile hardware and services in Saudi Arabia.
