The Ministry of the Environment of Baden-Württemberg has allocated €50.7 million for two hydrogen projects under the ELY program, which includes eight electrolysis initiatives with a total capacity of 55 MW. The projects, part of the 3H2 network, will establish regional hydrogen hubs, featuring a 1 MW electrolyser in Achern powered by wind energy and another at Kehl port, aimed at supplying local energy-intensive companies. These efforts are designed to enhance local hydrogen production and improve regional competitiveness.
