ABB has announced its acquisition of Premium Power, an electrical engineering consultancy based near Dublin, Ireland. The acquisition aims to strengthen ABB's ability to provide specialist advisory services in complex electrical systems, particularly for critical sectors such as data centers and pharmaceuticals.

The deal is expected to close in Q1 2026, although financial terms were not disclosed. This investment aligns with ABB's strategic priorities and enhances its Electrification Service offering, ABB Navigate, by expanding its expertise in power system studies and risk management.
