Algeria Plans Up to Three IPOs in 2026 to Enhance Capital Markets
DATA AND AI INFRASTRUCTURE
Algeria is set to introduce up to three initial public offerings (IPOs) in 2026 as part of efforts to strengthen its capital markets. Possible listings include Ayrade, an IT firm aiming to expand its data center capacity, along with potential entries from INSAG education group and an unnamed pharmaceutical company.
These planned offerings align with Algeria's goal to diversify its economy beyond oil and gas revenues. The momentum follows Banque de Développement Local's $464 million IPO earlier this year, and the 2024 listing of Credit Populaire d'Algérie, indicating a cautious reopening of Algeria's public equity market.
