AMD has unveiled new AI chips for data centers at CES 2026, including the Instinct MI440X GPU designed for on-premises use, supporting training and inference in an eight-GPU setup. The company also previewed the 'Helios' platform, capable of delivering up to three exaflops for future AI models, built on new MI455X accelerators and EPYC 'Venice' processors. Looking ahead, AMD plans to launch the MI500 series in 2027, promising significant performance enhancements with the latest technology.
