Antigua Hosts World's First Ammonia-Fueled Ship During Green Port Initiative
AMMONIA
Antigua welcomed the world's first ammonia-fueled ship, a 75-meter vessel, as part of a global tour demonstrating green ammonia as an alternative fuel. The visit aligns with the International Maritime Organization's aim for net-zero emissions in shipping by 2050. The ship arrived from Trinidad, invited by Port Manager Darwin Telemach, and is part of Antigua's strategy to enhance green fuel infrastructure.
