Arkansas TRS Allocates $150M for Infrastructure in 2026 Commitment Plan
The Arkansas Teacher Retirement System (TRS) has approved a 2026 commitment pacing plan, allocating $150 million for infrastructure as part of a $550 million real assets strategy. In 2025, the fund was recommended to invest $350 million in infrastructure, concluding the year with $275 million in commitments, including a $75 million investment in the ISQ Global Infrastructure Fund IV managed by I Squared Capital.
This fund targets $15 billion with a focus on value-add infrastructure in the upper-middle market. Arkansas TRS aims to increase infrastructure investments to meet a 4 percent target, concentrating on mid-market power infrastructure driven by electrification and rising demand for data centers and artificial intelligence.
