Armenian Government Allocates Funds for Yerevan State University's Supercomputer Center

The Armenian government has allocated 3.4 billion drams for the establishment of a supercomputer center at Yerevan State University, with an additional 1.17 billion drams earmarked for 2025 to equip it with a supercomputer featuring 64 NVIDIA H100 cards. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited the university to review the completed installation and stress testing of the center, which aims to bolster Armenia's capabilities in artificial intelligence and high-performance computing. State funding for science in Armenia has nearly tripled since 2018.
