Aspen Aerogels Lists Georgia Manufacturing Facility After Halting Second Plant Plans

Aspen Aerogels Inc. has listed its manufacturing facility in Statesboro, Georgia, for $35.2 million after halting plans for a second plant. The site, which previously received a loan commitment from the U.S. Department of Energy for manufacturing fire-resistant aerogel blankets, will now see the company focus on expanding production in East Providence and exploring new markets in data centers and Europe.
