Avalanche Energy Secures $29 Million for Desktop-Sized Fusion Reactors Development

Avalanche Energy Inc. has secured $29 million in funding to advance the development of compact fusion reactors designed for applications such as powering satellites and remote bases. The investment, led by RA Capital Management and including new investor Overlay Capital, will support the company's focus on magneto-electrostatic fusion technology and the establishment of a test facility in Richland, Washington, set to open in 2026. With this funding, Avalanche's total capital raised reaches $105 million as it aims to address increasing electricity demand through clean power solutions.
