Bilfinger has been awarded a contract to assemble and install components for BP's new green hydrogen plant in Lingen, Germany. The facility will have a capacity of 100 megawatts and is expected to produce 11,000 tons of green hydrogen annually by 2027.

It will operate on renewable energy and supply hydrogen to industrial customers and a nearby refinery. Over 200 Bilfinger specialists will be involved in the project.
