Blue Origin plans to launch 5,408 satellites to establish the TeraWave communication network, aimed at serving data centers, governments, and businesses with data speeds of up to 6 Tb/s, starting in Q4 2027. This initiative is designed to accommodate around 100,000 enterprise customers amidst growing demand for large-scale data processing, particularly from AI applications. The company is also developing the Amazon LEO network with 3,200 satellites, facing increasing competition from SpaceX's Starlink and other global players.
