Blue Origin to Launch TeraWave Satellite Network with 6Tbps Capacity for Enterprises

Blue Origin is set to launch the TeraWave satellite network, comprising 5,408 satellites in low- and medium-Earth orbit, starting in Q4 2027. The network aims to deliver data speeds of up to 6Tbps for data centers, governments, and enterprises, enhancing connectivity for up to 100,000 customers in remote areas. The company has filed for FCC approval to operate the constellation, which will use both RF and optical links to improve global network resilience.
