Boeing's Global President Dr. Brendan Nelson announced the development phase of their sustainable aviation fuel initiative at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, focusing on producing 'electrofuel' from green hydrogen and captured carbon dioxide.

The Boeing-Technion SAF Innovation Center, supported by a NIS 100 million investment from the Israel Innovation Authority, aims to bridge academic research and industrial capability, emphasizing the project's national significance for Israel. The next steps will concentrate on practical development for commercial production.
