Bowling Green Constructs Smaller Data Center in Woodbridge Business Park
DATA AND AI INFRASTRUCTURE
A smaller data center is under construction in Bowling Green's Woodbridge Business Park, set to be completed by April. The facility will occupy 61,554 square feet on a 12-acre site and will require significantly less energy than the nearby Meta data center.
It is expected to use around 6 megawatts of electricity, with negligible water usage, contrasting sharply with Meta's projected 180 MW peak electricity demand and substantial water needs. Developed by Oppidan, the facility will create 12 jobs and has received a 10-year tax abatement.
