Brescia Province is set to amend its Provincial Territorial Coordination Plan (PTCP) by January 2027, aiming for a 45% reduction in land consumption for residential areas and 20% for urban and productive functions by 2030. The updates will include a new land consumption map and improved monitoring through a geoportal, while also focusing on redeveloping degraded areas with sustainable infrastructure and green spaces. Collaboration with local foundations and universities will ensure the plan meets future needs, such as data centers and electric vehicle charging stations.
