BW Offshore and McDermott International have introduced a floating blue ammonia FPSO concept designed to convert surplus natural gas into lower-carbon fuel. The unit can process 3 million cubic meters of gas daily, producing over 1 million tonnes of ammonia annually while capturing up to 99% of CO₂ emissions. Positioned near gas sources and CO2 storage, this concept aims to meet low-carbon fuel demands and align with international emission reduction targets.
