The Campbell County Board of Supervisors will review the zoning approval for MESH Capital LLC's proposed data center in the Concord District, following a resident's petition. Although the project initially met local zoning requirements, a recent ordinance change now requires special-use permits for data centers. The board has delayed its final decision on the ordinance by 120 days, and if the zoning decision is upheld, MESH Capital can move forward; otherwise, the site can still be developed under existing heavy industrial zoning.
