CDEK Transfers Data Center Operations from Novosibirsk to Moscow via Plane

CDEK, a Russian delivery company, has successfully migrated 95 percent of its data center operations from Novosibirsk to Moscow, transporting 300TB of data by plane and migrating a total of 1.17 petabytes. The process, completed on January 1, 2026, involved overcoming challenges such as signal latency while ensuring minimal disruption to customers. The new Moscow facility is equipped with 238 pieces of equipment to enhance application speed and security, while the Novosibirsk data center will no longer be operational.
