Christine Heume Receives ZEISS Young Researcher Award for Electrolyser Research
ELECTROLYZERHYDROGEN
Christine Heume, a doctoral student at Forschungszentrum Jülich, has been awarded the ZEISS Young Researcher Award Europe for her research on electrolyser degradation, crucial for green hydrogen production. Her work, part of the H2Giga/DERIEL project, employs advanced imaging techniques to analyze microstructures in electrolyser membranes that affect efficiency. Additionally, Keele University has launched a green hydrogen plant to utilize excess renewable energy for grid balancing and hydrogen storage research.
