Cloudflare experienced an outage at its Newark, NJ data center on February 16, causing elevated latency for some HTTP requests. The company confirmed the issue at 10:19 UTC and began investigating. By 12:02 UTC, they identified the problem and started working on a fix.

This outage coincided with issues faced by X and AWS, although their connection remains unclear. Previous global outages for Cloudflare in November 2025 affected several major platforms, but DCD and SDxCentral were unaffected in this incident.
