Clyde Hydrogen Systems Completes First Integrated Prototype for Decoupled Electrolyser Technology

Clyde Hydrogen Systems has successfully completed its first integrated prototype for a decoupled electrolyser, aiming to improve hydrogen production using renewable energy sources. The company plans to develop a commercial demonstrator by 2028 and is seeking up to £5 million in seed funding by Q2 2026, with support from the Scottish Government's Hydrogen Innovation Scheme. Additionally, Clyde has partnered with PlusZero for field demonstrations of its technology in 2025.
