Cogent Communications has finished converting legacy Sprint switch sites into data centers but has canceled an initial sale agreement for two facilities. The proposed buyer requested over 50% financing from Cogent, which the company rejected.
Cogent is now seeking other potential buyers, having received backup offers for the facilities. The company reported Q4 2025 revenue of $240.5 million and an annual revenue of $975.8 million.
