The Colombian government has launched a call for proposals for low-emission hydrogen technology pilot projects, part of its 2021 Hydrogen Roadmap, which aims to demonstrate carbon reduction in transport, industry, and power. Open for 60 days, the initiative offers up to 30% funding for projects, with a phased strategy targeting 500 MW of electrolysis capacity and 150,000 tonnes of green hydrogen annually by 2030. Results from the pilot projects are expected by Q2 2026, potentially leading to further tenders for electrolyser manufacturing.
