The African Development Bank (BAD) confirms full funding for Congo's national data center, projected to be operational by May 2026. The project, valued at approximately €66.55 million, is primarily financed by BAD with €52.47 million, supplemented by €14.50 million from the Congolese government. The data center aims to ensure digital sovereignty and includes 600 km of optical fiber connections with Cameroon and Central African Republic.
