Cornell Realty Management LLC is proposing a 500-acre data center campus in Archbald, Pennsylvania, featuring 14 two-story buildings with diesel generators. The project, known as the Wildcat Ridge Data Center Campus, is currently seeking an end user and a conditional use permit, amid local opposition regarding environmental concerns, particularly related to its plan to utilize treated mine water. An estimated $93 million in upgrades to water infrastructure will be needed to address pollution issues associated with the water supply.
