Cranfield University has launched a new test cell facility as part of the Cranfield Hydrogen Integration Incubator (CH2i) project, aimed at promoting clean energy research and supporting net-zero aviation innovations. The Cranfield Power & Propulsion Laboratories (CPPL), located near Cranfield Airport, features extensive laboratory space for testing aircraft power systems and sustainable aviation fuels, while also providing training for master's and PhD students. The facility's construction involved collaboration with multiple partners, including Lindum and Influence Landscape Planning and Design.
