Cyprus is launching the Pharos-CY initiative to connect a new data center to Greece's Pharos AI Factory, utilizing the DAIDALOS supercomputer. Approved in late 2025 by Cyprus' Ministry of Research, Innovation, and Digital Policy in collaboration with EuroHPC Joint Undertaking, this connection will enhance Cyprus's AI capabilities.

A smaller supercomputer project in partnership with NVIDIA is also underway. The initiative aims to support local and regional AI development, benefiting various sectors including research and public services.
