Datakom Launches Latvia's First Private AI Supercomputer with 2 Petaflops Performance
Latvian tech company Datakom has developed the first private high-performance supercomputer cluster designed for artificial intelligence applications, achieving a performance capacity of two petaflops, or two quadrillion calculations per second. The system comprises 12,300 computing cores connected through a high-speed data-transfer network, enabling near real-time processing.
This supercomputer is now accessible to companies and public institutions in the Baltics, marking a significant advancement in Baltic IT infrastructure. It allows users to run independent AI models, including language adaptation and sensitive data analysis in finance and defense, without reliance on public cloud services.
