DayOne, a Singapore-based data center developer, has announced plans for a new facility in Klaukkala, Nurmijärvi, Finland, in partnership with Fortum, aiming for a phased development of up to 560 MW of grid power. The project, which includes preliminary site sale negotiations with the municipality, is expected to create around 1,000 construction jobs and 700 long-term skilled positions, while also incorporating educational and environmental initiatives. Government approvals, including a permit from the Ministry of Defence, are required for the project's advancement.
