Digital Realty Seeks Expansion of Dulles Data Center Campus in Virginia

Digital Realty has applied to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for an expansion of its Dulles Digital campus in Loudoun County, Virginia, which includes plans for two new data center buildings and upgraded infrastructure.
The development, initially set at 7.5 million square feet, has grown to 11.7 million square feet, positioning it as the world's largest multi-tenant data center campus with a projected capacity of up to 1GW. Digital Realty acquired the site in 2018 and has been developing it since 2020, with the first building completed in 2023.
