Dresden University of Technology to Launch Nvidia-Powered Supercomputer Deneb by 2026

Dresden University of Technology will launch the Nvidia-powered supercomputer Deneb by the fourth quarter of 2026 at its Center for Information Services and High-Performance Computing. The €9.4 million system features advanced hardware, including two Nvidia Grace Blackwell superchips and 184 GPUs, and will incorporate a water cooling system to reuse 97% of generated heat for local heating. The project is funded by the German federal government, Free State of Saxony, and the AI competence center ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig.
