Echelon Data Centres in Talks for Second Data Center in Lauderdale County, MS

Lauderdale County is negotiating with Echelon Data Centres for a second data center in the Sonny Montgomery Industrial Park. Echelon plans to purchase about 300 acres of land, including the old Loblolly site, for the project.
The company is collaborating with Mississippi Power to supply approximately 500 mega volt-amperes of power. This follows a previous $10 billion investment from Compass Data Centers for an eight-center campus in the region.
