Echelon is developing a €3 billion data center project in Treviglio, Italy. This initiative follows their Madrid Sur project, a 16-hectare data center campus in Spain, powered by an on-site photovoltaic system and clean energy from Iberdrola.

A strategic alliance with Iberdrola aims to facilitate large-scale data center construction and management across Europe. Approximately 1,500 direct and indirect jobs are expected from the Madrid project. Although specific job numbers for Treviglio are not yet available, Echelon anticipates creating thousands of jobs during construction and hundreds more once operational, contributing to local and regional economic benefits.
